Cy Benson, originates from Newport in South Wales, coming from a family of entertainers, James Gabriel, Gordon Griffith and Robb Dee and has been entertaining us for over 30 years. Cy has been in many bands, Joey & the Eastwoods, Pandoras Box, Jade, Pure Flame, Cy Benson & Fairwind, The Shades and The Brothers just to name a few.

 

Cy has not only performed with star acts such as The Original Drifters, Gene Pitney, Status Quo, The Stylistics, Cannon & Ball, Little & Large, Bob Monkhouse, Frank Carson and Henry Cooper, he has also appeared in some great TV variety shows, feature films and TV dramas over the years...shows like, Memories, Search for a Star, Opportunity Knocks, Pub Entertainer of the year...TV Dramas, Award winning United Kingdom, Supergran, Union  and Films such as, Stormy Monday (Sean Bean, Sting and Melanie Griffith), Catherine Cooksons Fifteen Streets (Sean Bean).

 

Cy has also appeared in the West End of London in the play " Ragman"

Throughout the years Cy has performed all over the UK, and in many parts of Europe, including Germany, Belgium, Holland, Morroco, Turkey and Ireland to name but a few.

 

 

Cy is now settled in Tenerife with his partner Carol and her two daughters: Shelly & Maxine. The two girls are brilliant entertainers in their own right. WATCH OUT for their own web site coming up shortly.

Since performing in Tenerife Cy has been voted the Islands Top Male vocalist  in 1999,2000, and 2007, and won the Top Entertainer of the year in 2000.
